MATH EXPLORATION with lhianna Bodiford

Hi! I am a lover of math and a homeschool mom. Over the years I have shared my love and knowledge of math with many students (both in an alternative school, on my own, and through various homeschool programs). I endeavor to set up playful environments where we can discuss and explore math and where students are relaxed enough to let their creativity shine. I emphasize problem solving and focus on “how to learn math” while we learn useful and interesting math concepts. I like to use games, puzzles and playfulness as much as possible.

This fall I am offering a high school level Geometry course that still has a few openings for interested students.  I am also preparing to offer an Algebra course as well as a Math-History course called “The Wonderful World of Women in Math” in the near future… stay tuned!
